Spanish sparkling wines have been much maligned in the past, due to a glut of poor quality examples flooding the market. There is now a mini renaissance and they offer great value for the level of detail invested in production. Unlike Prosecco, the wines are made in the same way as Champagne. These particular two wines develop in the winery for approximately 3 years before they are released onto the market.
The wines are organic and delicious. The white is very crisp, aromatic and shows plenty of fresh fruit flavours. The pink is a very pretty shade, concentrated in berry fruit with a dry finish.

Fresh and feminine rosé Cava - beautifully presented! The Trepat grape adds an attractive, pale pink to the wine. Delicate red fruit aromas lead on to a palate of citrus and white flower characters, with a touch of cassis. The fizz is fresh and persistent.

This was put together by a rabble of independent wine merchants, from across the UK, ourselves included. All with different characters, all working together to provide moments of drinking pleasure. A clean, easy drinking light and citrusy gin, perfect for a gin and tonic or Mothers Day martini
