Firstly, I was very pleased to be showing wines to a full house; it seems the January detox has avoided Hanover, Brighton. Overall, I was pleased with the wines; the customers who attended, however, were another kettle of fish!
Grenache/Garnacha is often touted with having rustic charm, I'd concur with that but I don't see this as a negative point. There was plenty of flavour to be found across the flight of wines, nothing was bank breaking, the alcohol levels were fairly high but Grenache seems to require this to bring out a better wine. The main problem was keeping the wines warm on a very cold evening.

BORSAO SELECCION TINTO 2009

This has a good body, it is full in flavour but not too overpowering. Black wine gum flavours, soft tannins. Maintains great concentration. Garnacha,syrah & tempranillo. Sexy wine. If you don't like this one there's something wrong with your taste buds!
