Produced by the progressive Piedmont co-operative Araldica Vini Piemontesi, this delightful Brachetto d’Acqui captures the fragrant, joyful style that has made the variety such a regional treasure. Based in Castel Boglione in the heart of Barbera d’Asti territory, Araldica works with more than 230 grower members, many of whom have been part of the co-operative since the 1950s, farming vineyards across Piedmont’s most celebrated appellations.

The grapes for this wine come from south-west facing vineyards in the Monferrato hills of Asti, planted on limestone-clay soils at elevations between 250–400 metres. Hand-harvested grapes are gently macerated on their skins for a short period before fermentation in pressurised tanks. Fermentation is halted early, preserving natural sweetness and leaving the wine at a refreshingly low 5.5% ABV, with a delicate sparkle.

Bright, aromatic and irresistibly charming, with notes of crushed raspberries, violets and dried rose petals. The palate is lightly sparkling, juicy and vibrant, bursting with fresh red berry fruit. Lively acidity perfectly balances the sweetness, leading to a fragrant, refreshing finish.

Delicious as a summer aperitif, and a perfect partner for fresh fruit salads, berries, light desserts or dark chocolate.
