A unique blend of Chardonnay (46%), Pinot Blanc (29%) and Pinot Noir (25%). This Estate Premier Cuvee blend aims to showcase the very best grapes and juices from any given vintage year. Gently extracted and carefully selected cuvees were fermented in stainless steel tanks with a small, but important, proportion (15%) undergoing further maturation in French oak barrels. The final blend was bottled in June 2017 following which it has undergone secondary fermentation and prolonged on-lees maturation for 7 years.
This wine is stunningly fresh, clean and elegant in style with complex and delicate aromas of lemon, lime and pear layered with hints of brioche and marzipan. Extra Brut (4g/L dosage).
This wine will age well on-cork for a further 2 – 5 years adding increased complexity and character.
