Artelium is located in the heart of Sussex near to Ditchling, a village with a heritage of arts and crafts. The brand and logo playfully references the art of typography, woodcarving and sculpture, celebrating craftsmanship with a distinctly modern twist. The journey to creating the name started with ‘Atelier’, another name for an artists studio or workshop. However after much consideration and several variations they settled on creating their own word… ARTELIUM
Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes handpicked at their partner vineyard in Hampshire. The wine was skilfully crafted by celebrated winemaker Dermot Sugrue.
This traditional method sparkling wine has a soft mousse and, as a result of extended time on the lees, has a round and textural mouth feel. Delicate orange blossom and sweet, shortcrust pastry on the nose with flavours of refreshing, lemon sorbet and a long finish on the palate. Delicious to drink now but also has tremendous ageing potential.
