The hill of La Morra in Piedmont is iconic, essentially a small town surrounded by some of the best vines in Italy. With 9 hectares on La Morra, the winery was started in 1950s.
The production style and ethos have evolved as Giovanni took over from his dad and took inspiration from Gaja, with their focus on modern wine style. Now this philosophy is settled and the results are excellent expressions of the La Morra terroir.
Medium bodied with plenty of fresh berries, not a big as some of the other wineries, the real key to this wine is balance.
