Don Tiburcio (named after the son of Federico Benegas) is a blend composed of five grape varieties.
The Malbec (50%) grapes come from the Finca La Encerrada vineyard (1450 meters above sea level), Gualtallary, Uco Valley. The Cabernet Franc (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Petit Verdot (5%), and Merlot (5%) grapes come from Finca Libertad vineyard (850 meters above sea level), Cruz de Piedra, Maipú, Mendoza.
Red and black fruit, spices like white pepper, clove and cardamom. Herbal notes of eucalyptus, thyme and rosemary. The wood ageing gives hints of cocoa and vanilla.
A round and fresh 'Bordeaux blend' with a long and lingering herbaceous finish.
