The Badoz family have been making wine in Jura since 1659, passing down traditional winemaking techniques and local know-how from father to son.
Benoit Badoz represents the tenth generation of his wine making family. His wines both reflect the ‘Traditional’ styles of the region, including the famous Vin Jaune (Yellow Wine), whilst also keeping an eye to the future with his ‘New Generation’ wines.
This Blanc de Blancs, typical of the sparkling wines in the region, is made from Chardonnay only and is very elegant. The palate is perfectly balanced with a creamy mouthfeel and some chalky mineral notes. It also has fresh apple and citrus notes.
