Winemaker Peter Hall looks after 6 hectares in the South Downs national park, he also tends after 40 Lambs that graze the hills and vineyards. The wines are named after friends and family of Peter, he only makes small quantities of each cuvee.
Grace is a Lewes-resident and friend of the Halls who moved to England from Guyana in 1977 and was awarded The Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 2021.
Typical of Peter's Seyval Blanc wines this cuvee is a razor-fine and bone-dry style, brimming with fresh orchard fruits and chalky minerality. Long and firm on the palate, with fine silky bubbles and a touch of honeyed character through the finish. Incredible with oysters or sashimi and certain to age beautifully in the bottle if you have the patience.
