Cà dei Maghi is a small estate nestled in the rolling hills of Valpolicella, near the vineyards close to the town of Fumane. The Fasoli Fedrigo family began their winemaking tradition in Negrar in the 1800s. In the 1950s, Granny Luigina and Grandpa Fernando started producing wine at Cà Dei Maghi, while also establishing ‘Rama,’ now the family’s agritourism. Today, Mari, Giovanna, Paolo, and Ivana continue the family’s wine and culinary heritage.
The 2023 Valpolicella Classico is fresh and clean, led by red cherry and pomegranate fruit, with light floral hints and a touch of soft spice in the background. On the palate, the wine is bright with crisp acidity that lifts the juicy red-fruit flavours. The texture is smooth, with gentle tannins that give just enough grip without taking away from the wine’s freshness. The finish is light but persistent, echoing cherry, red berries, and a faint herbal note.
