Cabo Maya Tequila is a premium tequila made of 100% of Agave Azul Tequilana Weber at Hacienda La Capilla, located in the region of Los Altos de Jalisco, in Mexico.
Their production processes is meticulous. Each and every one of the Blue Agave plants selected for a batch belong to the same harvest. The Blue Agave they use, or hearts of the agave plant, are issued a phytosanitary certification. This is a tracking certificate that makes sure they comply with statutory and regulatory plant health standards.
The Tequila is a result of a crafted process. This means that they use a slow cooking through vapor pressure in autoclaves. Also, the fermentation is done in wooden casks, and the distillation is in copper vats. The result is an exquisite Premium Tequila.
