This independent family-owned winery in Piave has been going since 1931. They own all their own vineyards, don’t buy in any grapes or wines, and so are able to maintain high standards every step of the way.
Refreshing Lemoss is made in an old-fashioned col fondo cloudy style: zero dosage, bone dry and unfiltered. Fermentation in the bottle with indigenous yeasts. Aged in bottle for 60 days before release. Unfined and unfiltered.
Slightly cloudy, showing intense aroma of bread crust, yeast, acacia flowers, with notes of apple, lemon and grapefruit. The palate is bone dry, fruity yet fresh, with good structure.
Great on its own, it will go well with raw or cured fish dishes, summer salads, and light cheeses.
