Established in 1790 in Alpendura next to the Douro river, Casa de Vilacetinho is one of the Vinho Verde region's most historic producers. Terroir is a major focus here, their 30 hectares of vines are planted in tough granitic soil, buffeted by the cold winds from the Atlantic, ideal for tempering the high summer temperatures.
Their classic blend of local varieties Avesso, Arinto, Azal and Loureiro displays the typical freshness and drinkability we love in Vinho Verde. Fresh pear and apple fruit, with a hint of floral recalling neroli and a saline mineral note. The juicy finish is complemented by the light petillance, making for a most refreshing glassful! Perfect for al fresco lunches, picnics or drinks parties - low abv and eminently quaffable.
