Ciconia Branco 2023 – £12.49
A fresh, aromatic white blend made from Antão Vaz, Viognier, and Verdejo. Expect vibrant notes of tropical fruits, citrus peel, and white flowers. On the palate, it's crisp and clean, with zesty acidity and a subtle mineral finish. Perfect for sipping in the sunshine or pairing with grilled fish, salads, or soft cheeses.
Herdade São Miguel Branco 2023 – £15.49
This expressive white is a blend of Antão Vaz, Arinto, and Verdelho, offering a fuller body and more complexity. Ripe peach, melon, and citrus fruits are layered with floral hints and a touch of spice. Aged partly in stainless steel and partly in oak, it shows beautiful balance between richness and freshness. A great match for roast chicken or creamy seafood dishes.
Herdade São Miguel Esquecido Branco 2022 – £32.95
"Esquecido" means "forgotten" – a reference to this wine's extended barrel aging. Made from old-vine Antão Vaz, this is a textured, gastronomic white with incredible depth. Think golden apple, toasted almond, vanilla, and subtle honeyed notes, lifted by bright acidity. Long, elegant, and complex – a Portuguese white to rival Burgundy. Drink now or cellar for a few years.
Ciconia Tinto 2022 – £12.49
A smooth, juicy red made from Aragonês, Trincadeira, and Touriga Nacional. This is your go-to weekday red: soft tannins, lots of ripe black fruit, hints of spice and herbs, and an easy, rounded finish. Great slightly chilled too! Enjoy with grilled sausages, tapas, or pizza.
Herdade São Miguel Tinto Alentejo 2023 – £15.49
This wine offers more structure and intensity than the Ciconia, while keeping that vibrant Alentejo charm. Made from Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, and Touriga Nacional, it delivers flavours of black cherry, plum, cassis, and baking spice. Supple tannins and a smooth mouthfeel make it ideal with lamb, roasted vegetables, or anything off the BBQ.
Herdade São Miguel Reserva Tinto 2020 – £33.75
The star of the lineup. This bold red is made from Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Touriga Nacional, aged in French oak. It's rich, intense, and elegant, with layers of blackberry, dark chocolate, clove, cedar, and dried herbs. Tannins are polished and the finish is long and savoury. A wine to savour slowly – and one that will age beautifully for years to come.
