From Bodega Atamisque in Argentina’s Uco Valley, Catalpa is made from a single vineyard at 1,300 metres above sea level, where high-altitude conditions help produce wines with impressive freshness, concentration and character. Named after the Catalpa tree, known for its fragrant white flowers, the range reflects the distinctive landscape and native flora surrounding the estate.
Deep purple in colour with dark, almost black undertones, the wine opens with aromas of ripe fruit, layered spice and subtle herbal notes. The palate is concentrated and structured, with generous fruit, rounded tannins and a satisfying, lingering finish. Aged for 12 months in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, it balances depth and complexity with a refined, approachable style.
This is a versatile food wine, pairing beautifully with beef, pork, creamy pasta dishes and mature, strongly flavoured cheeses.
