Delavenne have been family owned since 1920, they produce wine from their own Grand Cru vineyards from Bouzy, Ambonnay and Cramant. They make their wines very naturally, so do not use any chemicals in their vineyards and the wine is vegan. This is very precise wine making. They blend only from two different vintages, largely from single plots.
This is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and 17% still red wine called Coteaux Champenoise. It is then aged for 36 months before release. It has lovely red fruits, with floral aromas, and a long crisp finish.
