80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
Grown in the clay and limestone soils of the St Emilion Plateau. Fermented in concrete and stainless steel and then aged for 18-24 months in french oak.
Aromatic St Emilion, with darks fruit of black cherries and cassis. On the palate, concentrated cherry & plum with floral, star anise and cigar box notes.
A very well balanced with fine tannins and supportive acidity. An opulent wine; focused and powerful with aging potential.
Drinking window 2020-2034. Pair with lamb and potato dishes, beef wellington, or confit duck.
