Château Cissac is a family-owned estate in Bordeaux's Haut-Médoc appellation, passed down through five generations of the Vialard family since Louis Vialard, a descendant of Jacques Mondon who purchased the estate in 1895, inherited it in 1940. Winemaker Laurent Saint Pasteur collaborates with the family on their 65-hectare vineyard, which features a classic blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. Château Cissac is committed to blending modern techniques with tradition, ensuring a harmonious balance between both approaches.
The 2010 vintage is an exceptional blend, consisting of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. A deep, garnet colour with an expressive nose bursting with fruit. Youthful and juicy on the palate with a good helping of dark cherry fruit and remarkable balance.
