80% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc.
The grapes are grown on a sloping clay and gravel vineyard, only 500m from Chateau Petrus (sharing some of the special blue clay that makes Pomerol from this terroir so magical).
The blend spends 10-12 months in barrel producing a wine with vanilla and red-cherry aromas. On the palate the wine is soft and full, yet youthful with fresh red and blackberry fruits and a little tannic grip.
