Distant Noises is a side project, made by Tom Carson. He is famous for making the stellar Yabby Lake wines from the Mornington Peninsular, Australia.
It is really exciting finding wines, from an exceptional winemaker, which don't have a premium price tag hanging round the bottle neck. This has depth, it is medium rich, and what is strikingly obvious is its balance and poise. This a seriously drinkable bottle of Chardonnay!
