Founded in the early 20th century in Rully, this winery manages 18 hectares of vineyards stretching from Gevrey Chambertin to Mercurey. Since the end of 2017, the estate has been in the process of converting to organic farming practices. The winemaking process is characterized by a meticulous approach, where each wine is crafted with utmost care and precision, respecting the distinctiveness of its individual parcels. By producing wines from single plots of the estate, the winery aims to showcase and celebrate the diverse and unique terroir that influences the character of each wine.
"Perrière" is an Old French work for quarry - The vines are grown in the middle of a stony slope with a rocky outcrop, one of the most beautiful Mercurey terroirs and harvested in 2 goes due to the age of the vines. Deep garnet-red in the glass, with an open and pleasant nose of fresh black fruits with a spicy touch. The tannins are round, delicate and well integrated. Good length.
