Founded in the early 20th century in Rully, this winery manages 18 hectares of vineyards stretching from Gevrey Chambertin to Mercurey. Since the end of 2017, the estate has been in the process of converting to organic farming practices. The winemaking process is characterised by a meticulous approach, where each wine is crafted with utmost care and precision, respecting the distinctiveness of its individual parcels. By producing wines from single plots of the estate, the winery aims to showcase and celebrate the diverse and unique terroir that influences the character of each wine.
The terroir of 'La Crée' is stony clay-limestone, located beneath the Premier Cru 'La Pucelle'. Pale gold colour with aromas and flavours of ripe apple, apricot and quince along with toasty, buttery notes. A satisfyingly complex wine.
