This is such a versatile, food friendly Pinot Gris.
Jean-Christophe bott took control of the estate in 1993, he then converted to biodynamic production in 2002. He and his team tend 15 hectares around southern Alsace. The Elements series is about creating elegant wines to pair with food. They care about their environment, which has resulted in a quality range of wines.
It is complex,with ripe fruit on the nose. This wine is intense, yet light and slender on the palate. It has fresh acidity with peach and apricot flavours.
It works really well on its own, or with spicy food, it is also worth trying with robust cheeses. It can go with desserts which aren't too sweet.
