The family 20ha family vineyard is 150 years old and is in the process of converting to organic production. Their wines are typical of this Rhone region showing strength, finesse and elegance.
A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault, this is a classic Southern Rhone red with ripe spicy fruit and rich structure. The nose displays lovely blackberry and Victoria plum fruit with meaty and peppery hints. It has a full-bodied palate, with warm ripe tannins and a long smooth finish. A perfect wintery wine, ideal with roasted or stewed meats and savoury mushroom dishes.
