All of the beers are brewed at Gun Hill, on a beautiful 140 acre organic mixed farm in the Sussex Weald. The farm has a history of hop growing and some survive to this day in the hedgerows.

Beginning back in 2014 where they spent a year refitting a barn, and installing all the equipment themselves until the first pint was then sold in January 2015. The aim of Gun Brewery is to tread lightly on the surroundings. They generate much of their own power from a 15kw solar array; heating from a wood powered boiler and the spent grains keep the local livestock happy. All the water used for brewing comes from a spring source deep below the organically farmed land. The water is microfiltered and UV treated to ensure its purity without the need for chemicals. It’s delicious and great for brewing.

A New England style pale ale. Plenty of oats and wheat in the malt base and copious dry hopping during fermentation, results in a pillowy soft, cloudy, rounded, juicy beer, delivering oodles of tropical fruit and hops.

For food pairings, think spicy - Chicken Korma, Thai, Tacos
