Since planting their first vines back in 2004, their vision has been to create the finest vintage wines using grapes exclusively from their own vineyards.

They grow the highest quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes across the Gusbourne Estate, with 60 hectares in Appledore, Kent and 30 hectares next to the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. These predominantly Burgundian clones yield smaller volumes of intensely flavourful fruit, which thrive in the unique microclimates. This exceptional produce is the vital first ingredient in making award-winning sparkling wines, all crafted using the traditional method.

33% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir, 17% Pinot Meunier. A delicate salmon pink colour, with aromas of soft red fruits and baked bread. The palate boasts evolved strawberry fruit, a touch of oak and brioche with some well integrated citrus-fresh notes on the finish.

Please note, this wine has been aged under cork for several years in our cellar, it will have a different flavour profile to the current release. They may display a deeper colour and more savoury characteristics. It is rare to find English sparkling wines with this age, they are sold as seen, as they are irreplaceable.
