Vinified and aged entirely in stainless steel, Montacero preserves the grape’s natural freshness and structure. True to I Pentri’s philosophy, the wine is made without additions, unfined and unfiltered.
The nose is alive with dark berry fruit, black cherry and blueberry, lifted by a clean, stony edge that hints at crushed rock and fresh earth. On the palate, the wine is energetic and finely detailed, with sappy, crunchy fruit, bright acidity and a taut mineral backbone giving shape and drive. There’s real depth here, but also clarity and momentum, making it both serious and highly drinkable.
Excellent with grilled lamb, slow-cooked beef, mushroom dishes, aubergine-based recipes or aged cheeses.
