Julia Melo Kemper left her life as a lawyer in Lisbon in 2003 to follow her dream and her family's passion, moving to the Quinta do Cruzeiro, tucked between mountains in the Dao region. In her desire to express the qualities of this unique site, with its decomposed granite soil and balanced continental climate, the estate is farmed under organic and biodynamic philosophy.
