The Lapilli family has been producing wine in the Avellino province since the 1960s and today, they produce under the watchful eye of consultant winemaker Marco Flacco who is well-known for his ability to produce elegant and regionally specific wines.
From the high-altitude, volcanic soils of Avellino in the Campania region, comes this Aglianico which is full and intense, bursting with ripe dark berries and cherry fruit, it carries a hint of liquorice, complemented by savoury, spicy notes of leather and pepper. The wine has depth, with exceptional fruit purity and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel.
