A zesty and fruity rose from the Pavia region of Lombardy in northern Italy. Full ripeness from hillside vineyards allows the Pinot Grigio skins to develop a rich pink colour, which is enhanced in the final wine by a splash of red Barbera and Pinot Noir grapes.
Delicate red berry and pink grapefruit aromas on the nose and a subtly creamy palate with a dry finish make this a charming, drink-anytime, rose. A great wine for barbecues and beach parties, drinking nicely with salads, grilled fish and chicken.
