Moulin Touchais is a 150 hectare estate, currently managed by 8th generation winemaker Jean-Marie Touchais. They produce a range of wines and also sell off much of their harvest. However the absolute best plots are kept for the famous ‘Moulin Touchais'

Nestled within the Loire Valley, the Coteaux du Layon appellation stands as a diminutive yet renowned region celebrated for its luscious wines crafted from the Chenin Blanc grape. Characteristically, the wines produced by Moulin Touchais carry a residual sugar content ranging from 70 to 80 grams. Much like several other sweet wines hailing from the Loire Valley, their true essence unfurls only after maturing in the bottle for a span of one or two decades. The vintage of 2005 marked an extraordinary release, showcasing a remarkable level of quality and the promise of enduring ageability. Citrus aromas, with notes of honey, silky sweetness, and long finish.
