We are very pleased to be able to offer the limited bottling of this Super Tuscan. It celebrates the tenth anniversary of Rocca di Frassinelli's stunning winery and the Beaubourg Museum in Paris, designed by the same architect, Renzo Piano.
Rocca di Frassinello is the joint venture between Castellare di Castellina and Barons de Rothschild, Ch Lafite, they are based in Maremma, Tuscany. Like other Super Tuscans they combine the Italian stella grape Sangiovese, with french varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wine is aged for 14 months in oak barriques.
This is a deep, rich, powerful wine, full of brooding fruit and spice, but it also skilfully remains balanced and elegant, with soft tannins and a long finish.
