Ronchi di Cialla, a 28 hectare historical Friulian Estate, is a small, family run business. Established in the 1970s, they have established a reputation as one of the finest producers of age-worthy wines in Fruili.
Their viticultural practices involve minimal treatment with non-polluting products, while vinification is carried out naturally. Their continued commitment to agriculture innovation and ecologically-friendly methods have earned them their “biodiversity friendly” certification by the World Biodiversity Association.
A Friuli blend of Verduzzo Friulano (10%), Picolit (25%), Ribolla Gialla (65%), fermented in neutral French barriques and subsequent maturation in the same barriques for one year. With additional 20 months of aging in bottles.
A dainty wine with an elegant bouquet of fruit (pear, apple and plum), vanilla and flowers (acacia and jasmine). On the palate it is delicate, dry, round and well balanced.
Pairs well with fish and seafood hors-d’œuvre; soups; saltwater and soft water fish, boiled or served with a sauce, haute cuisine; egg and vegetable soufflés; white meats with a sauce, Parma ham.
