Seb K* is part of the Seb wines project, a collaboration between Csilla & Csaba Sebestyen and WoodWinters, created to highlight the natural partnership between local Kékfrankos and carefully integrated Bordeaux varieties grown in Szekszárd.
Hand-picked Kékfrankos grapes fermented in open tanks at 28–30°C, followed by a short maceration of seven days. The wine is aged for 28 months in used 5-hectolitre oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, preserving freshness while adding gentle complexity. A vibrant, easy-going red that showcases the heart of Szekszárd through a Kékfrankos-led blend, balancing freshness, fruit and subtle structure in a very drinkable style.
On the nose, bright cherry and sour cherry aromas lead the way, followed by gentle hints of spice and savoury depth. The palate is lively and juicy, driven by fresh acidity and crunchy red fruit, with smooth tannins keeping everything supple and refreshing from start to finish. It’s a friendly, energetic wine that never feels heavy, making it ideal for relaxed drinking.
Perfect with grilled meats, paprika-spiced dishes, roast vegetables, sausages or casual pasta dishes. Also excellent slightly chilled.
