From one of the Mosel’s most revered vineyard sites, the Uhlen vineyard, dramatically steep and overlooking the Mosel river, is famed for its complex geology. The Laubach parcel, with its deeper, weathered slate soils, produces wines of elegance and power.

At Heymann-Löwenstein, the philosophy is rooted in minimal intervention and maximum terroir expression. Grapes are harvested by hand from these perilously steep terraces, fermented with native yeasts, and given extended time on lees to build structure and nuance.

Layered and refined Riesling, opening with aromas of ripe citrus, white peach and subtle herbal notes, intertwined with a distinctive smoky slate character. The palate is broad yet precise, combining ripe fruit with a deep mineral core. There is a gentle creaminess from lees ageing, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, quietly powerful finish that continues to evolve in the glass.

Beautiful alongside lobster, scallops, roast pork or richer fish dishes, where its texture and minerality come into their own.
