Viña Dagaz, named after the Celtic rune symbolizing ‘the beginning of a new path,’ was established in 2015 by esteemed winemaker Marco Puyo and Patricio Gomez-Barris. Having traversed the diverse landscapes of Colchagua for years on behalf of other wineries, Marco was captivated by the temperate Mediterranean climate and granitic soils of Pumanque, seeing in them a canvas for something truly personal. Drawing inspiration from the terroirs of Côtes du Rhône, Galicia, and Rioja, he sought to craft a wine that authentically echoed the essence of the land.
