OVID Napa Valley represents fifteen acres of California’s most distinctive terroir, located atop Pritchard Hill at an elevation of 1,500 feet. There, the winemakers seek a harmonic balance between ‘tension & intention’ through wines that balance warmth and generosity with nerve, power and finesse.
Lifted and nuanced, with sweet red berry fruit, cinnamon, mint, cedar and new leather on the nose. A wine of precision and nuance, the 2012 speaks to finesse. It boasts beautiful notes of spring flowers, forest floor, mulberries, boysenberries and blueberries (true mountain cool climate fruits), a deep, savory, concentrated style, velvety tannins, decent acidity and a luscious mouthfeel.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
