The newest edition to the 'Rarity' selection of wines from Cantina Terlano, which show "impressive proof of outstanding longevity".
This 2007 Pinot Bianco belies its age. A mature wine, left to age on the lees in steel pressure tanks for at least ten years. The resulting wine is surprisingly fresh and bright, with lemon, apricot fruit and citrus peel. The minerality is typical of this producer and the terroir of the South Tyrol. It has a beautifully long finish, balancing acidity with a pleasing oily richness.
