The history of Domaine de Brescou dates back to the 14th century. At the time, the Crozals family were seigneurs (feudal lords) d’Alignan. Documents prove that the family cultivated wine here since the midst of the 18th century. Hundred of years later, Domaine de Brescou was the leading supplier of communion wine in France. Domaine de Brescou has always maintained a respect for traditional methods, together with an open mind for new and improved production ideas, this has resulted in the winery being certified as Terre Vitis as well as significant effort to reduce the use of sulphites in their wines.
