Owned by brothers Jean-Claude and Philippe Lambert, the domaine, based in Sablet, was created in 1935 by their grandfather. In recent years they have restructured the vineyard, planting more Syrah (for colour and aroma) and Mourvedre (for structure). The Vaucluse is from the pebbly, sandy soils on the plain below Sablet and is rich and juicy being 50% Merlot, 25% Syrah and 25% Marselan (a cross of Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon).
