Traditional cava grapes (Xarel-lo, Macabeo & Parellada) are picked from a selection of vineyards from the Penedes, 250 meters above sea level. The sparkling wine spends a short time on fine lees and is bottle aged for 14 months prior to release.
Small, subtle bubbles, fresh floral scent with honey-ed fruit. Rich and elegant with white peach and bitter citrus. Perfectly poised, this is a wine with remarkable presence and persistence.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
