Neethlingshof are based in the heart of the Cape wine lands near Stellenbosch overlooking False Bay. They have a beautiful historic farm dating back 300 years. Since 2003 they have been following an active biodiversity strategy in farming practices and are super sustainable, encouraging wildlife, and giving back to nature some of what they took in the past.
This Malbec is a crowd pleaser, it's been fermented in small oak barrels then aged for 10 months in French oak. Medium bodied, rip plums and violets on the nose with chocolate and vanilla. It's rich and full of berry and plum flavours with a savoury touch and soft tannins.
A delicious all rounder and versatile food wine, working really well with red or white meats like roasts or vegetarian moussaka or even with soft pungent cheeses.
