Quinta do Montalto, Amphora, Vinho de Talha White, 2017
A very different style of wine, Hand-harvested grapes were both fermented and aged on skins and lees in talhas/amphorae lined with natural tree resin. This is the traditional method of producing Vinho de Talha. This method add texture and a level of depth that most portugese whites don't have. This is the native variety called Fernao Pires, this creates a wine that has lots of citrus and acidity.
