Domaine Mirabeau La Reserve 2020

This is a complex, gastronomic rose from the Cote de Provence.

La Réserve is Maison Mirabeau’s first cuvée and it is a statement of co-founder’s Stephen and Jeany’s hopes and dreams.

Although set back by the recent wild fires, Stephen and Jeany plan to continue the work that they have started, working to promote a new way of introducing biodiversity to their vineyards.

Moving beyond organic practices, this exquisitely golden hued rosé is produced on their estate using regenerative practices nestled in the nature reserve at the foothill of the Maures mountains.

An atypical Rosé, silky and golden in colour from its time in lightly toasted French oak barrels, with an intriguing nose of flambéed banana, camomile and apricot.

A stunningly juicy Grenache/Cinsault/Rolle blend with layered flavours of peach, buttery brioche and orange zest.

50% of the profits from La Réserve are donated to @regenerativeviticulture a foundation co-founded by Stephen to bring more information and research to this approach for prospective farmers and the general public.
