The 2016 CAMi Red Blend is this producers flagship Estate red wine. It is hand-crafted by their winemaker John Giannini, making just under 200 cases each year. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 53% Merlot and 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 100% French oak barrels.
An elegant wine. The nose is vibrant, with hints of chocolate, plums, cedar and smoky cherry. It's a complex wine with sweet tannins and a slightly toasted oak finish.
