This is wine maker Pieter Walser's answer to Cru Beaujolais.. It's super bright and juicy, bursting with wild strawberry, cherry and with an earthy, smoky undercurrent. It can be served slightly chilled, making it the perfect summer red.
Pieter makes wine using 37 different varieties in the cellar and the name, Master of none, refers to him not being an expert in any one varietal or wine style, hence the saying: 'Jack of all trades, master of none.'
This is made of 40% Wellington Grenache Noir, 30% Cinsault from Darling/Stellenbosch, 8% Elgin Pinot Noir, 8% Syrah from Swartland and 14% Voor Paardeberg Chenin.
It's superb and we don't have very much in stock so when it's gone, it's gone, and some has already come home with me.
