Fourth & Church is a neighbourhood shop & wine bar for those who love interesting wines and great tasting food. You can visit them and take food and wine home from their shop or sit down for a meal or a casual bite and a drink from Monday - Saturday 10am - 10pm.
Fourth & Church is owned and run by Sam Pryor and Paul Morgan, two good friends of ours and both cooks and wine enthusiasts who have worked in restaurants, bars and wine shops for many years.
They wanted to open somewhere that they can work with artisan products to make delicious food along side wines supplied by us at Butlers.
People have been fermenting grapes to make wine (and grain to make beer) for centuries. This fermentation process is used by cultures all over the world to preserve other foods such as cheese, bread, charcuterie and pickles.
Sharing the flavour of cultured and preserved foods with friends and customers is the inspiration behind what they do at Fourth & Church. You can expect to find delicious tapas, plates to share, pinchos, salads, cheeses and charcuterie.
The food is designed to accompany the over 30 wines, Sherries and sparkling wines by the glass with a couple of local craft beers on draft and the odd spirits and aperitif thrown in for good measure!
Pop in for a quick or leisurely lunch, they are also the perfect place for a post work glass of wine and some nibbles. You can the stay on for dinner or take home a bottle and food for an easy and delicious supper at home.
