Don José's passion for crafting exceptional sherries soon caught the attention of sherry connoisseurs, and Lustau rapidly gained recognition for its exceptional quality and unique style
3 En Rama by Bodegas Lustau: An exciting collection of three pure expressions of Sherry from each town of the Sherry Triangle, produced from the most outstanding casks in each Solera. To obtain the purest Sherry, Lustau brings back the “En Rama” style, which means bottling the wine straight from the cask with no additional treatment. This process usually takes place in spring, when the layer of living yeast, known as “flor” reaches its peak. By doing this the Sherry’s natural character is fully maintained and the resulting wine is unique and full of personality, influenced by the microclimate of the town in which it is aged.
El Puerto enjoys a mild climate all year round. This style of Fino del Puerto does, conveniently, combine the best of both worlds: fullness of flavour and a delicate sea breeze character unique to this 3rd of the Sherry triangle.
This Fino is laced with scents of the sea and profound “flor” aromas. Clean and fresh, with a slight taste of tangy yeast. Intense yellow colour with golden hues. Very pungent and lively with notes reminiscent of the Atlantic breeze, roasted almonds, and hay.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
