Here's a treat for eco wine fans - a natural wine, in the most sustainable packaging there is, for under £4. But don't let that fool you into querying the quality. There is a big red wine in this dinky 25cl can.
It's made by South African renegade Adi Badenhorst, who has a winemaking CV as good as they come. He made his first wine aged 13 and worked at Chateau Angélus in St-Émilion, Wither Hills in Marlborough and Rustenberg in Stellenbosch before setting up A A Badenhorst with his cousin Hein in 2008.
All of Adi's wines are bio-farmed and low-intervention. The Curator is a little beauty of a red blend, all ripe black fruits with a twist of black pepper and lovely soft tannins.
Take anywhere, drink anywhere and be sure to pop the can in the recycling afterwards!
