The Agricola Marrone winery is based in the famous village of La Morra, Barolo. The family has been working in the area for 4 generations now, and have built a reputation for creating expressive and powerful wines.
Satisfying and complex with aromas of raspberry, wild cherry, violet and rose petals and a hint of soft spice on the palate. A more elegant style of Nebbiolo, without aggressive tannins making this a delight both with and without food.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
